Jodie Primeau
Jodie is the managing partner at Primeau Law Professional Corporation, where her practice focuses on criminal trials and appeals. She is a fierce defender of her clients’ rights and a relentless advocate in pursuit of their interests.
Ruthlessly advocating at the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Ontario and Ontario Court of Justice, Jodie has extensive litigation experience in all areas of criminal law and successfully represented clients on high-profile driving cases in the Ottawa Valley and Kingston Courthouses.
Jodie obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. During law school, she worked with AIDWYC (Association in Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted), the Elizabeth Fry Society for women charged with Criminal Offences, COSA (Circles of Support and Accountability for Sexual Offenders), and with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic. She worked at the Ottawa firm, Webber Schroeder Goldstein Abergel after law school then moved to Kingston where she taught Clinical Advocacy at Queen’s Law, acted as Review Counsel for Queen’s Legal Clinics. She served on the Executive of the Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association and founded the first student-led Bail Program at Queen’s Legal Aid in association with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Kingston, where she served on the Board of Trustees.
Jodie is an active member of the Executive for the Renfrew County Lawyers’ Association, is a member of the Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association, is the School Board Trustee for the Renfrew County District School Board, assists with Legal Aid Ontario as per diem duty counsel, mentors young lawyers and law students, and is a proud single mother by choice.

Jessica comes to Primeau Law as a Mediator and seasoned Family Law Lawyer. After earning her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph, she went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor and was called to the Bar in 2011.

Claire Steer
Claire Steer is currently serving as the Office Manager for our firm with many years of experience serving the community in various capacities.
Claire shared her incredible love for and gift of dance as a Ballet teacher in the community for more than 22 years, and in her roles in customer service and caregiving.

Jacqui was born and raised in the small town of Millbrook Ontario and understands the benefits and values of being a part of a small community. Jacqui has joined our team bringing with her small-town and family values, strong administrative skills and commitment to clients in professionalism and confidentiality.
In addition to her dedication to each Real Estate matter, Jacqui has worked tirelessly in her spare tto become a Volunteer Firefighter for the Deep River Fire Department.
